True, but for sustained 3 minute damage I suspect other builds would catch up due to recycle / energy concerns.

32,363 damage over 180 seconds (179 dps). Best damage in a single second was 538, death in 5 seconds.

So this is the best I could do (for now). Note that I have heroes, but they are flagged at the starting gate (forgot to get rid of them) - so this is solo. Also, I'm using Intensity, but my sunspear rank is only 7 with my ele, so I might could squeeze some more damage out.

Check out that one second - 441 damage! Woot!

I'd say, for proper comparission, everyone would have do to their damage (solo or 4-man) over the full 180 seconds to properly compare them. Warriors will (probably) have a comparitively slow start while the adrenaline builds up, making them look bad over a shorter time period, and spellcasters can burn through their energy in seconds but might not be able to keep up the DPS.

My solo sin, for example, managed a meagre 13,324 over 180 seconds (74 DPS) - but 4 sins like her might have been able to do 4 times that, kicking the SH/SF ele teams into a cocked hat! (although that *was* with the wonderful Critical Agility speed buff, so not something Heroes could copy).

Still, back to my point - I think all postings should cover the full 180 seconds (unless you specifically want to just show what you've achieved in a single second).

I've played guild wars since a month after prophecies came out and i've gotta say this game just keeps getting better. This feature is awesome and it's something i never even would have thought of or expected them to do for us. Thanks anet , keep the good idea's comin.

I couldn't find the master of damage although I was able to find the master of interrupts.I wonder when the other masters will be there There Assassin.Dervish and Paragon.

I see some of you use Superior Vigors on your heros not even one of my chars has one.

Caster Heroes are not that good. Even when the enemy is not attacking or moving, they are. They run to him, cast Inferno and then move back again.

Agreed, example above you looks cool and whatnot but when you see how much his damage dropped after 10 second mark when aoes ended and recharge times kicked in. ...

I noticed that he will also count degen as DPS. That means that builds that rely on degen can be compared to raw damage builds in terms of "damage."

This is the best i could pump out on my ranger without using PVE skills. Its not too bad i guess.

EDIT: Just tried with forked arrow and Brutal Weapon. Got 67 DPS.
